– a Japanese word that means “light filtering through the trees”.
Komorebi 木漏れ日
In a dense forest, it can sometimes seem like there is no light coming through, but there still is. And it is most beautifully evidenced when we see the sun’s rays finding their way through the gaps between the thick foliage of the trees that surround us. It is a great reminder that, no matter how challenging it can be to see the light sometimes, it’s always there finding its way to us even when we may not be feeling good.
